Review
I bought this vacuum cleaner about two weeks ago as my old one had packed up. Now that I've used it quite a bit I thought I'd put up a review of it.

My first impression when I unboxed it, was that it was really easy to piece together and set up (10 minutes).

I then used it on a rug we have in the front room and within minutes I had cleaned it and the contents of the clear bin™' was spinning round dirt and loose green fibres.

It is a very powerful vacuum cleaner and has a good attached accessory system which enables you to clean round edges, coving, skirting, tops of doors etc without hunting around the house for each attachment.

There is a built in hose, a soft brush, crevice tool and stair tool on the Dyson and the hose stretches to reach the top step.

Unfortunately the hose has quite a strong recoil and it becomes quite difficult to keep the Dyson from falling over or following close behind you when you use it.

Once the job is done and you want to go ahead and empty the clear bin™' it's really easy. Just release the clear bin™ from the Dyson and take to a bin, hold upright over the top of the bin and press the red release button. A door on the bottom of the chamber opens and the contents are dropped into the bin. - Very good.

Dyson Cyclone™ Technology.

The heart of the Dyson is the Cyclone™ technology and I thought I'd provide an extract of it's definition from the Dyson website:

Dyson technology doesn't rely on a bag. Instead it spins the air incredibly fast - so fast that the dust and dirt is flung out into the clear bin™. A Dyson vacuum cleaner doesn't lose suction.
