Well it’s finally happened, Apple have finally announced the ‘new’ iPhone and all they seem to have done is added an S to the end of the name (Apple iPhone 3G S). Only kiding.. They have improved the hardware and battery life and the new iPhone has VIDEO – recording upto 30fps – AT LAST!!!!

The S stands for speed according to Apple, they have improved the hardware and made things like graphics rendering much better. This iPhone now has a speed of 600MHz and increased 256Mb RAM.

The ‘new’ iPhone will be sold in the US from June 19th and will be available in two versions (16 & 32Gb) from $199.

Steve Jobs, however, did not make an apperance at the Apple Conference today as predicted..
